I just can’t help but make a recipe that reminds me of the Starbucks Cranberry Bliss bars.  Forever those flavors will remind me of the trip I took over Christmas with my kids to Maui.  I have wrote about it before but I just can’t say enough great things about that trip and the memories we made.  Maui is my favorite trip destination and being able to take my kids there after years of saving was a dream come true.  For 9 days we relaxed and enjoyed each other more than ever.  It truly was…THE BEST TRIP EVER.  I plan to make these yummy Cranberry Bliss Mimosa’s to reminisce.

I have to admit that turning a blonde bar into a drink isn’t quite as easy as I had planned.  Getting every single flavor into a cup just wasn’t possible, so I focused on a few key ingredients.  They are cranberry, orange and white chocolate.

If you have ever tried melting white chocolate then you know it can be temperamental.   For that reason, I decided to use almond bark.  It melts nicely and also sets up quickly.  The warmth of your lips melts it just enough to give you the white chocolate taste that you expect.

Then I added some orange juice.

Followed by cranberry juice.

Topped off with champagne.

The garnish is what takes the drink to the next level.  A wedge of orange {I used a Cutie orange to keep the wedge small} with some fresh cranberries were perfect.

Do something for me.  Close your eyes and imagine yourself on Christmas morning.  There is Christmas music playing in the background.  The gifts have already been opened and there is a fire burning.  You are sitting with loved ones and relaxing with a glass that is filled with a beautiful red drink.  It is bubbly and tastes like cranberries with a hint of orange and white chocolate.  You know what that is sweet friend?  Christmas magic!  Make this recipe and grab yours.
