How to make Strawberry Crunch Strawberries

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries, being sure to keep their green leaves. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium microwave safe bowl, add the white chocolate wafers. Start microwaving for 30 seconds, stir and then add 15 second intervals until all of the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  2. Take each strawberry and hold either by the green stem or place a toothpick into the top and dip into the melted chocolate. Move around in the chocolate to coat the outside.

To make the strawberry crunch crumble, add Golden Oreos to a food processor and pulse until you have crumbs. Pour into a medium bowl. Add freeze dried strawberries to the food processor and pulse until you have a powder {there can be a few chunks}.

Combine the freeze dried strawberry powder with the cookie crumbs and add the softened butter. Work the butter into the dry ingredients using your hands {or a spoon}. Continue to work it together until everything is evenly coated. Set aside.

  • 1 ยผ cup freeze dried strawberries {pulsed into a coarse powder}
  • 1 cup Golden Oreo crumbs {about 15 cookies}
  • 3 Tablespoons butter {softened}

  • 15-20 large strawberries
  • 10 ounces white chocolate melting wafers

  • Add Golden Oreos to food processor* and pulse until you have crumbs. Pour 1 cup into a bowl. Add freeze dried strawberries to the food processor and pulse until you have a powder {there can be a few chunks}. Put 1 1/4 cups freeze dried strawberry powder into the Golden Oreo crumbs that you set aside. Add the softened butter and work it into the ingredients using your hands {or a spoon}. Continue to work it together until everything is evenly coated. Set aside until cookies are ready.

Let the strawberries sit at room temperature for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set. You can also refrigerate them to allow the process to happen sooner. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
