Life is good at my house…the Eagles are headed to the Super Bowl!!  My Darb now has two weeks to worry about a game that he has no control over.  Woohoo!  ๐Ÿ™‚  I love the Super Bowl, partially because I love football but mostly…because I love food.  In my opinion a party is only as good as the food that is served.  At a game day party you can go all out.  The food is supposed to be hearty and heavy.  The more food the better!  Sliders are nice because you can pick them up and eat them.  They are also nice because you can eat 5 and not feel bad about it.

I have used mini croissants before in these Mini Turkey Croissant Sliders with Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread.  They are so good but these little cuties have bacon on them, so that instantly takes them to Super Star Sandwich Status {which I think should be a thing}!  I put the mayo and mustard on the side because we have picky eaters but you could absolutely add it directly on the sandwich.  I made an assembly line to put them together which was convenient and made things extra simple.  Your Super Bowl Party is crying for them…GO EAGLES!!

Ingredients

  • 24 miniature croissants {cut in half}
  • 24 slices turkey lunchmeat
  • 8 slices bacon {cooked and cut in thirds}
  • 6 slices cheese {cut into fourths}-I used Provolone
  • 2 Roma tomatoes {sliced}
  • 24 small pieces romaine lettuce
  • mayonnaise
  • mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place halved croissants onto a baking sheet and toast for about 3 minutes.  Remove from oven and place cheese slices onto one side of each croissant and put back into the oven until melted.
  • To assemble sandwiches:  On each toasted miniature croissant place a slice of turkey, piece of bacon, tomato and lettuce.  Add mayonnaise and mustard {if desired} or serve on the side.  I used a toothpick, inserted in the center to keep the sandwiches together.  Serve & Enjoy!

Notes

  • ย If you can't find miniature croissant than any small roll will work.
  • To save time, purchase pre-cooked bacon.
