This Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Bake is easy to make, perfect for meal prep, and absolutely delicious! It only needs a side of broccoli or a salad for dinner perfection.

Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Bake being served for dinner.

I am constantly on the lookout for easy casserole dishes that I know my family will love.  Casseroles are perfect for any night of the week.  In fact, I have this Alfredo casserole, Walking Taco Casserole and Cowboy Casserole on constant repeat.

When you are busy, you can make them ahead of time.  When you have extra time in the day, you can make it before dinner and spend extra time with family.  Plus, they have everything in one dish!

Pasta might just be my favorite food {aside from cookies of course}, so incorporating it into a casserole is a no brainer for me. Take that a step further and make it a Ravioli that is stuffed with cheese! ….Where do I sign up?

The one thing however that isn’t always my favorite is store bought Alfredo sauce but it does make an excellent base.  A few extra ingredients is all it needs to take it from alright to outstanding.

A spoon serving Alfredo chicken casserole.

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Bake

  1. For this recipe we are using two 12 oz. jars of store bought Alfredo Sauce.  Add them to a medium bowl and then start adding all of the good stuff. To the Alfredo sauce add, heavy cream, melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper and parmesan cheese.  Then whisk the ingredients together.
  2. Add the Ravioli that has already been boiled to the doctored up Alfredo Sauce and stir to coat. I love the flecks of herbs in the dough of the ravioli.

Making the Alfredo sauce and adding it to the ravioli.
  1. Pour the Alfredo coated ravioli into a 9×13 pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.  Spread the ravioli out so that they are evenly distributed across the pan.
  2. Next, add the chopped chicken to the top of the ravioli mixture.  Make sure that you are adding them to the top in a way that each serving will get a nice helping of everything.

  1. The final step is all about the cheese.  In this case we are using shredded mozzarella and additional Parmesan cheese {but if you prefer something else then use it}.  Spread both of them evenly over the ravioli and chicken layer.
  2. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. You will know it is ready when the top turns a light shade of golden brown and the edges of the casserole begin to bubble. Finish with a sprinkling of chopped parsley or basil.  It adds a beautiful color and freshness which is needed because Alfredo sauce can be kind of heavy.

How to Serve

Serve it up while warm and enjoy every single bite.  You can always add a little bit of additional Parmesan cheese {because why not} if desired.  Our house motto is the more cheese the better.

I also love serving it with cheesy breadsticks and this easy winter salad recipe.

Storage and Freezing

This chicken casserole will keep well for up to 4 days in the refrigerator and freeze well for up to 3 months.
