In the fall I find myself using crazy amounts of Pumpkin Pie Spice.  Although you can buy it at the grocery store…making it at home is so easy!  All it takes is combining a few spices and you are ready for the holiday baking season!  The best part is that you probably already have most {if not all} of the spices you need on hand for this homemade pumpkin pie spice recipe.

What is Pumpkin Pie Spice

Pumpkin Pie Spice is the perfect combination of warm spices.  While it is sold year round most often it isn’t purchased until the fall season when people start using pumpkin in recipes.

Perfect for a traditional pumpkin pie, the great thing is that you don’t have to stop there.  You can use Pumpkin Pie Spice in almost any kind of baking, especially if you love comforting spices.

Measure out each of the the ingredients into a bowl {or onto a plate} and mix well to be sure that all of the spices are nicely incorporated.  That is it!

There are so many wonderful recipes using Pumpkin Pie Spice.  From cookies to cakes and everything in between…I can’t get enough this time of year.

My favorites however would have to be Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Snack Cake.  I love how easy the cake batter is to make and how the Pumpkin Pie Spice works with the sweetness of the cinnamon sugar topping.
