Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese {softened}
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand held mixer {or by hand} until cream and smooth.
  • Add the whipped topping and gently mix incorporate {to avoid deflating the whipped topping} completely.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite fruit or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

Notes

  • While you can serve this dip immediately, it tastes even better when chilled for about 30 minutes to an hour. This allows the flavors to meld and the texture to set up slightly.
  • For a fun addition that enhances the cheesecake flavor, sprinkle some crushed graham cracker crumbs over the top of the cheesecake dip before serving.
  • You can make this into a chocolate fruit dip by stirring some chocolate syrup into the dip, or make it a strawberry cheesecake dip by adding a dollop of strawberry jam.
