Valentine Dinner Roundup
Today I have turned to my fellow blogging friends for Valentine’s dinner ideas that are perfect for the entire family. If you are anything like we are, having Valentine’s Day on a random Thursday means…business as usual. I of course want to make something fun for everyone because it isn’t going to be a romantic dinner for two. The table will be full of faces of all ages and palates that are as broad as my backside {I can’t help it…I love cookies}. This always makes things a little more complicated when you are trying to make something “special”. That is why I have asked the experts. My hope is that you will find something that your family will love.
If you are looking for a slow cooker recipe than this Slow Cooker Lasagna would be perfect. I don’t always think of making a pasta dish in the slow cooker but over at Sunday Super they have a recipe index with about anything you can think of. Head over and check it out.
Who wouldn’t love a Bacon Wrapped Pork Chop? I mean really! When I think of making something fun for a holiday this is just what comes to mind. Head over and see what else Alli at Dancing Through the Rain has cooking.
I am a huge fan of sheet pan dinners. This Caprese Sheet Pan Chicken Breast is such a fun version! I really love that the recipe only calls for 5 ingredients. Head over to Food Meanderings for even more recipes.
If you are wanting to grill then this Grilled Peppercorn Crusted Filet would be perfect! Hezzi-D’s Books and Cooks has all of the tips and tricks you need for the perfect Filet. There are also has some drool worthy side dish options.
Here is another recipe from Dancing Through the Rain. Doesn’t this Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp look amazing!?! My husband would go crazy for this dish. The best part is that…there are so many more where this came from.
I can’t wait to try this Creamy Caesar Chicken Bake from Mom’s Dinner. The flavor combination looks divine and so fun! It would be such a great way to celebrate.
You know that I couldn’t end the post without a recipe directly from Practically Homemade. My son made this recipe for Chicken Parm Ravioli Bake a few weeks ago and reminded me just how delicious and easy to make it is. I think it would be perfect for your Valentines.
So there you have it. Some fun ideas for your families Valentine’s day dinner. So many great flavors and blogs! I hope you will click around and take a look at everything each site has to offer! xoxo
