Dinner Dad Will Love
Father’s Day is on Sunday and so I thought I would round up recipes for a dinner dad will love! Dad’s or at least the one’s in my life {my dad, my husband and my father in law} are AWESOME and they deserve a dinner they will enjoy.
Here is the thing, dad’s don’t want fancy. They don’t {normally} want to go out. They want to sit on their back porch with a beer {or Jack & Diet} and RELAX.
No yard work, no chores, just food, drinks and people waiting on them…even when they tell us that isn’t something they like. Because we all know they do.
I always start with dessert because in my opinion, it is the most important part of any meal. I actually picked two recipes because I am unsure if your dad is a cookie {go dad} or cake man and I like to cover all of the bases.

Texas Sheet Cake Cookies
This Texas Sheet Cake Cookie is still one of the most popular recipes on my site and for good reason. Not only is it simple {it starts with a cake mix} but they are extra delicious with the homemade cooked frosting.
Better Than Anything Bundt Cake
But…if cake is more your dad’s speed then by all means, make this Better Than Anything Bundt Cake. You can’t go wrong with chocolate, caramel, Heath bars and whipped cream…trust me. It didn’t get a name like that for no reason.
Everything Spice Rub
Ok, so let’s move on to dinner. When I think of my dad, I always think of grilling first. This Everything Spice Rub is awesome on anything and as I bonus…I am giving you my grilling tips!
Homemade Mac N’ Cheese
All dads love Mac n’ Cheese and this recipe is the best in my opinion. With a secret ingredient that gives you an extra creamy texture, it is fabulous any day of the year.
Fiesta Wedge Salad
Even dad’s love salad when it tastes like this one. Fiesta Wedge Salad is hearty {a requirement when cooking for dad} and the taco salad dressing is so easy to make.
One Rise Crescent Rolls
Every dad loves carbs and so this One Rise Crescent Roll is perfect. Ready is just about an hour, he will feel extra special and you won’t have wasted your entire day in the kitchen.
So there you have it. My suggestions for a dinner dad will love. The best part is that all of the recipes are simple to pull together and that gives you more time with dad. Enjoy!
