The Best Brown Sugar Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ham and cheese sandwiches just got more delicious with a buttery brown sugar topping and a small slider serving size.

Ingredients

Topping

  • ½ cup butter {melted}
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar {packed}
  • 1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons onion powder

Sandwiches

  • 12 small dinner rolls
  • 4 ounces sliced ham
  • 4 ounces sliced swiss cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds and onion.
  • Cut the rolls in half and put the bottom in the prepared baking dish. Top with half the ham. Add the cheese, and top with the remaining ham.
  • Add the tops of the rolls and pour over the butter mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and remove the foil. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, cut using the lines of the rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

Refrigerated leftovers can be wrapped in paper towels before reheating to prevent sogginess
These stay warm for up to an hour in a covered aluminum pan for easy transport to parties
