Oreo Cake Mix Cookies
- 1 box white cake mix {15.25 ounces}
- 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tablespoons sour cream
- ¾ cup Oreo cookies {chopped}
Oreo Glaze
- ½ cup butter
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup Oreo cookies {crushed}
Oreo Cake Mix Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine cookie ingredients in large bowl and mix until completely incorporated. NOTE: Dough will be thick. Add chopped Oreo cookies and stir by hand into the cookie dough.
Using a medium sized cookie scoop {or heaping tablespoon}, scoop cookies onto a silicone mat {or parchment} lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for 4-5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack. Repeat until all of the dough is baked.
Oreo Glaze
Combine the butter and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat and whisk until the mixture has melted. Remove from heat, add powdered sugar and vanilla, whisk until smooth. Add crushed Oreo cookies and stir into the glaze.
Pour or spoon frosting over cookies. Use a knife or spoon to move frosting and make sure that each cookie is covered. Top immediately with a mini Oreo cookie.
Let frosting set and serve. Keep your Oreo Sheet Cake Cookies in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
