Glace' Icing
Glace' icing is a great alternative to royal icing. It is easy to work with and dries nicely.

Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Servings: 36 cookies
- 6 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tbsp milk {I used 1%}
- 6 tbsp light corn syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Combine all of the above ingredients into a medium sized bowl and whisk together. If the icing is too thick, then add additional milk {1 tsp at a time}, if the icing is too thin, then add additional powdered sugar {1 tbsp at a time} until you get the desired consistency.
You want to be sure to work on one cookie at a time because the base layer can not be set for this to work.
If you want to stack them then let them set up for at least 8 hours.
