Water Lime Granulater Sugar
The mixture will appear clear, not cloudy, when done.
To make a simple syrup, heat and whisk together water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Once cooled, add lime juice and lime zest to the mixture, and stir well to combine. You can store your lime simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
After removing the simple syrup from heat, transfer it to a heatproof container and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
