Top 5 Best Mail Order Cookies your Friends and Family will Love

Today is my 46th Birthday and I decided it was the perfect day to re-share this post!  I LOVE cookies and wholeheartedly believe that sending someone you love a box of cookies in the mail is the very best idea EVER.  Seriously though… I knew the boxes of cookies were coming and it made my day when they arrived.  Imagine if they were a surprise!  Sending a box of the best mail order cookies to friends and family out of town or to someone you live with {then you get a bite} is an extra special way to celebrate.  

Ideally I would love to make cookies for everyone but that isn’t always possible with my schedule.  Thankfully there are so many wonderful mail order companies out there that will send your favorite people something sweet for you. 

It was a hard job {sarcasm} but I tasked myself with ordering and eating cookies from 5 cookie company’s.  That way I could then pass on my cookie knowledge to all of you.  Here is my take on the following mail order cookie companies that I know your friends and family will love just as much as we did.

I have to tell you that I ordered most of these cookies right before Thanksgiving which wasn’t exactly speedy.  That mixed together with the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere led to some long ship times. Also remember to give them some grace because shipping is out of their control and can be a bit delayed just because of the times we are living in.

Here are the first 5 best mail order cookies I tried {yes, I plan to try more} in no particular order because all of them were awesome.

Top 5 Best Mail Order Cookies to Gift:

Carol’s Cookies

This cookie company has taken my heart you guys!  Not only are their cookies AMAZING but the company is family owned and operated.  In fact, if you follow them on Instagram, you will realize that sweet Carol is in the shop everyday doing everything from answering phones to working in the bakery.

When that happens you know that the customer service is going to be top notch and it is!  I can’t say enough good things about it.  My cookies also arrived quickly which can be hard because I am so remote.

The beautiful blue embossed box that they come in a wonderful touch.  There is also an area in the checkout section where you can personalize a message to whomever you are sending it to which I love.

When you order you will find a variety of box sizes and cookie flavors to choose from which is always wonderful, plus the prices are super reasonable.  The Large Gift Box {which I highly suggest} is $44.00 and has a dozen 6 OUNCE COOKIES!!  They are giant and they have plant-based options.  Shipping is determined by your location.

I can’t decide what is my favorite because I loved so many of them but if I had to choose it would be a close tie between the Sugar Cookie and Snickerdoodle.  

Big Fat Cookie

I have to start by saying that their customer service was top notch!  They texted me to make sure that a ship date of the Monday after Thanksgiving was alright which was so nice.

The mail order cookies also came the quickest.  I was pretty shocked to have them on my doorstep within a couple days of shipping.

The packaging was nice, they offered a personalized gift card and the cookies…OMG!!!!

This Muddy Buddy Cookie might just be my most favorite cookie EVER!  I still can’t get over it.

You can choose from a variety of 4 cookie box options and remember, the cookies are huge and super thick.  The price point is around $34.00 and shipping was determined by location.  

Overall I would definitely recommend Big Fat Cookie and I can guarantee that whoever you sent it to would be super impressed.  In fact, I ended up ordering some cookies as a Christmas gift for a friend.

Bang Cookies

Bang Cookies came the day after Big Fat Cookies with two other mail order cookie companies.  They also had great customer service!

The packaging was great, they offered a customized card to go inside and the cookies were delicious.  They are also organic.  So if that was important to you then this might be your company.

The Sea Salt Chocolate Chunk was overwhelmingly our household favorite but there was not a bad flavor.

The price point was $29.50 and shipping was calculated by location but appeared to be the lowest.  

Overall I would definitely recommend Bang Cookies and think whomever you send them to would certainly feel special receiving them.

Sweet Girl Cookies

Sweet Girl Cookies is a mail order cookies company I found when flying through the Charlotte airport years ago.  Their customer service was also very good.

I liked the packaging, I loved the Merry Christmas card {but you could send another message} and the cookies were fresh and tasty.  They offer a nice variety of cookies and also have seasonal favorites.

My favorite will always be the Chocolate Chip Cookie but the Peppermint Chocolate Chip was pretty darn good!

The price point for the BIG Cookies by the Box starts at $33.99 and shipping is a flat rate of $5.00 for orders up to $70.00 which is fantastic.

Overall I would always recommend Sweet Girl Cookies!  They hold a very special place in my cookie loving heart.

SUSS Cookie Company

Suss Cookie Company was one that I found online and it had a lot of great reviews.  

My favorite part about this company was that I could mix and match the cookies however I wanted.  I love to be able to get exactly what I like.

My favorite was the Lemon Cookie but the Ginger Cookie as a super close second.

The price point was $16.00 {for a half dozen cookies} and shipping was based on location.

You can also mix and match the cookies and get exactly what you want which is always great.

Overall it was one of the best weeks ever!  Everyday a new box of delicious cookies was showing up and my only job was to eat them.  

I can’t wait to send some of these best mail order cookies to friends and family throughout the year just to let them know how much I love and care for them.
