Scalloped Potatoes and Ham in the Crock Pot

This Scalloped Potatoes and Ham in the Crock Pot is a cheesy, easy main dish that is perfect for breakfast or dinner! It takes just 5 minutes to throw it all in the slow cooker and in a few hours this satisfying dish is ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. pkg. bagged hash browns, {if defrosted adjust cooking time}
  • 16 oz. ham {diced}
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese {or cheese of choice}
  • 4 green onions {sliced}

Instructions

  • Add hash browns to crock pot that has been fitted with a plastic liner. Top with diced ham, salt, black pepper and garlic salt.
  • In a bowl combine cream of mushroom soup and milk, whisk together. Pour over the top of the hash brown and ham mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and stir to combine. Top with lid. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.
  • Serve your crock pot potatoes and ham recipe warm with a sprinkling of sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Keep your hashbrowns frozen to follow the cooking time in this recipe, but if your hashbrowns are defrosted just be aware it will take less time to cook.
  • Use a crock pot line to make clean up a breeze.  No soaking and no scrubbing required!
