Servings: 4 chops
- 4 boneless pork chops {thick cut}
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic {minced}
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil {I used olive oil}
Glaze
In a small jar, combine honey, lime juice, garlic and soy sauce. Put lid tightly onto jar and shake to combine. Set aside. NOTE: You can do this step in a bowl with a whisk.
In a large skillet, heat oil. While the oil is heating, season both sides of the pork chops. Once the oil is heated, carefully add them to the skillet and let them brown for 4 minutes. Once they are browned on the first side, flip them over and sear the second side for an additional 3-4 minutes. Reduce heat to low and add glaze. Simmer the chops in the glaze for an additional 6-8 minutes {depending on thickness} or until the chops are cooked through. Remove chops. Use a whisk to remove any small bits from the bottom of the pan and then pour the glaze over the chops. Serve warm.
