Little Smokies Pigs in a Blanket Wreath

Little Smokies are wrapped in refrigerated pizza dough and baked in a spring form pan to create a wreath of Pig in a Blanket goodness.

Course Appetizer
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough {I used thin crust}
  • 1 pkg. Little Smokie's
  • 2 tbsp butter {melted}
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce or dip of choice

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Prepare spring form pan, by placing oven proof bowl in middle of pan and generously spraying pan and outside of bowl with nonstick spray.  On a lightly floured surface and unroll tube of dough.  Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut into 36 rectangles.  Combine melted butter and garlic powder, spread generously onto each rectangle.  Wrap each little smokie into a piece of dough.  Once all of the smokie's have been wrapped, begin to place them vertically into the prepared pan.  You want them to be snug but not super tight.  Bake for 35-40 minutes.  Remove from oven, allow to cool for about 5 minutes.  Remove side of spring form pan, fill dish with dip of choice.

  2. Serve your Little Smokies pigs in a blanket wreath and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  •  If you feel like the outside or tops of wrapped Pigs are getting to dark but not quite cooked through, then cover with foil for the remaining cook time.
