Strawberry Crunch Topping {No Bake}

A twist on the strawberry shortcake frozen desserts you know and love, this easy to make Strawberry Crunch Topping is totally no bake and only requires 4 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup freeze dried strawberries {pulsed to coarse powder}
  • 1 cup Golden Oreo {crumbs}-about 15 cookies
  • 3 Tablespoons butter {softened}

Instructions

  1. Add Golden Oreos to food processor* and pulse until you have crumbs. Pour 1 cup into bowl. Add freeze dried strawberries to food processor and pulse until you have a powder {there can be a few chunks}. Put 1 1/4 cups freeze dried strawberry powder into the Golden Oreo crumbs that you set aside. Add the softened butter and work it into the ingredients using your hands {or a spoon}. Continue to work it together until everything is evenly coated.

  2. Once everything is coated, use the topping as desired or store in an airtight container {or zipper bag} for up to 1 week at room temperature.

Recipe Notes

  • *If you don't have a food processor, add the Golden Oreos to one large zipper bag and the freeze dried strawberries to another.  Use a rolling pin to break the two ingredients into crumbs.
