Preheat oven to 300°. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat {or parchment paper}.
In a medium bowl combine pecan halves, melted butter and kosher salt. Stir until the pecan halves are completely coated.
Lay the butter and salt coated pecans onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until you can start to smell the pecans toasting.
Remove your salted buttered pecans from the oven and allow the buttered pecans to cool on the baking sheet for 20 minutes. Add them to your favorite recipe. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
Notes
NOTE: You can also cool these salted buttered pecans by transferring them to a clean towel. The benefit to doing it this way is that the towel will soak up any additional butter that the pecans didn't absorb.
