Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup whiskey {I used Jack Daniels}

Instructions

  • In a bowl combine the ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk to combine and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan bring the whiskey to a boil. Boil for 30 seconds. Add the ketchup mixture and stir. Once the mixture comes to a boil, turn it down to low heat and let it continue to cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened {it will not be as thick as bbq sauce}.
  • Serve warm or store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • This easy whiskey glaze can be stored in an airtight container or jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Serve it on beef like steaks or brisket or use it to glaze ribs, chicken wings, pork chops, salmon, or even glazed ham.
