THANKSGIVING TURKEY COOKIES

These easy Turkey Cookies are the perfect festive way to celebrate Thanksgiving! This recipe is simple to make and super fun to decorate.

To make sugar cookies, mix sugar cookie mix, butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.

Scoop 12 portions onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until cooked. Let the cookies cool on the sheet after removing from the oven.

To create a turkey-themed cookie, start by attaching a mini Nutter Butter Cookie, frosting side down, to a sugar cookie.

Leave space for candy corn feathers.

Then, use frosting to add edible eyeballs on top of the Nutter Butter and a candy-coated sunflower seed below for the beak.

Attach a red sprinkle to the side of the beak for the wattle.

Finally, arrange five candy corn above the Nutter Butter to resemble feathers in a fan shape.
