SLOW COOKER ROASTED CHICKEN

Slow Cooker Roasted Chicken is great because it goes with any kind of side dish…Roasted Melting Potatoes, Broccoli Salad, Mexican Street Corn Skillet or anything else your family loves.

1

STEP

To prepare the chicken, remove anything from the cavity and stuff it with a halved head of garlic.

Combine steak seasoning and paprika, then rub it over the chicken's surface.

2

STEP

Use a slow cooker liner for easier cleanup and add 6 foil balls and 1/2 cup of water (or chicken broth) to the slow cooker.

Place the whole chicken on the foil to prevent it from touching the bottom.

3

STEP

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, depending on the chicken's size.

It's done when the legs pull easily and the temperature reads 165 degrees. Remove, carve or pull apart, and serve.
