EASY PECAN PIE COBBLER RECIPE WITH A CAKE MIX

Key Ingredients

– Eggs – Brown Sugar – Corn Syrup – Honey – Butter – Pecans – Yellow Cake Mix

This Pecan Pie Cobbler has been declared the best recipe I have made by my sweet Darb!  In fact, I hadn’t planned on sharing it with you for a couple of weeks.

Mix until well combined. Place chopped pecans in a 9x13 pan, then pour the filling mixture over them. Set aside.

For the pecan filling, combine eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, honey, salt, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a bowl. 

Use a pastry cutter or forks to blend until crumbly. Mix in boiling water until a cohesive mixture forms

For the Cake Mix Cobbler topping, combine dry cake mix and cold butter in a bowl. .

Sprinkle with a few additional chopped pecan.

Drop large spoonfuls over the top of the pecan mixture. 

After baking, let it cool on a rack or serve it warm. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze it for up to 3 months.

Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes to prevent spills.
