APPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

– Butter – Brown Sugar – Cinnamon – Apples – Spice Cake Mix – Apple Cider – Apple Sauce

This Apple Upside Down Cake screams Fall flavor with the addition of a spice cake mix.  Using that one ingredient makes this Bundt cake so simple.

Pour this mixture into the Bundt pan. Arrange sliced apples on top of the butter-sugar mixture in the pan.

Prepare the apple topping by mixing melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 

Pour the batter onto the prepared pan over the apple topping, ensuring an even layer and bake.

For the cake batter, combine cake mix, eggs, apple cider, and apple sauce in a large bowl as directed on the package. 

Keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then flip onto a cake plate to fully cool. If apples stick, delicately reposition them onto the cake.
