Savory and Sweet Party Plates

We are on the eve of Thanksgiving and I have a feeling that a few of you {myself included} might be looking for a last minute dish to make tomorrow.  Some years the holidays sort of sneak up on me.  I know they are coming but time flies by so fast that before I know it…we are days away {or even the night before}.  That is why I like to have a few things like this up my sleeve.  These over the top plates will look like you have spent hours on them but in reality…it was a quick trip to the grocery store and a few minutes of time.

Both the Savory and Sweet Plate I am showing you are full of delicious everyday items but you can tailor them to fit whatever your family likes.  There are not any rules.  You will just need a good variety, so that there is something for everyone.  I also suggest a dip of some kind.  I love taking them to a party, giving them as a hostess gift or even just making them when people come over anytime.  We love to play cards and so it works great to have a plate full of goodies to snack on while you play.  I hope both of these give you some inspiration for your holidays and all year long.
