Super Bowl Round-up & WINNER-WINNER

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE SALES LINKS. PLEASE SEE OUR FULL DISCLOSURE POLICY FOR DETAILS

Hello sweet friends!!  Do you have plans for the Super Bowl?  Of course, we are still undecided.  Decisions at our house only come last minute…it is how we roll.  We have been invited to a friends house and we have talked about inviting a few people to our home but the only thing is for certain…this Chocolate & Almond Football Bark is on the menu!  I used Eagles colors but feel free to use whatever color represents your favorite team.

I never can decide if I should do all finger foods or a big meal for half-time.  Finger foods are nice because you can eat on the go and graze throughout the whole game.  The problem with them is that you are usually having to make a number of items which is time consuming and expensive.  Your game plan is up to you but if finger food is what you have decided on then let me suggest a few of my favorites.

Club Sandwich Croissant Sliders are an excellent choice.  They are a crowd pleaser and have bacon on them {really when bacon is in the recipe…what else has to be said}.

This Jalapeno Popper Cheeseball is a no-brainer {again…bacon}!  Serve with crackers or veggies and your guest will be sticking around for the second half.

Another great sandwich option is my Mini Croissant Turkey Sliders with Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread.

If a main dish is what you are after {and my plan this year}, let me suggest a Sloppy Joe Tater Tot Casserole.  It is one of my go-to meals because it is so easy to pull together and everyone loves it!!

Chicken Pot Pie Bowls are also a great idea.  Make the filling ahead of time and then bake the puff pastry toppers right before serving.

My top pick is this Beef Ramen Skillet.  It is such a GOOD dish!  One skillet and tons of flavor…it is a touch down!

Now let us get to the WINNER WINNER.  If you subscribe to Practically Homemade then your name was put in for a $25.00 Amazon gift card.  If you aren’t a subscriber to Practically Homemade then I would love for you to do so.  Not only will you get put in for giveaways {and I have tons planned} but you will also get a monthly Newsletter with exclusive recipes and posts will be sent directly to your inbox.  To pick the winner, I used a Random Number Generator and the number was 8!  The 8th person to subscribe to my blog was…Tonia Albertson!!

Congratulations Tonia and GO EAGLES!!
